“Surfing… The ultimate equalizer. People of all races, ethnicities, and financial status surf, and while in the water none of that matters. We are all equal. While surfing, a surfer is only as good as the wave he/she catches…”

Hi, my name is Craig.

Growing up in Southern California, I started surfing at the age of nine and it has defined who I am ever since. From 2000-2006 I worked for Calfire as a professional Firefighter. In 2004 my wife Catherine moved to San Diego, where I eventually hung up the uniform and put on the wetsuit, working as a surf instructor for 6 years.

I spent 4-5 hrs. a day 6 days a week in the water teaching literally 1,000’s of people; from all walks of life, the art of surfing.Spending countless hours in the ocean and having to verbalize/explain how to read, catch, and ride waves has given me a unique insight into the sport, and my skills have greatly improved as a result of instructing.

Surfing will positively influence who you are as a person. Your physical/mental health will improve, and your goals, dreams, and ambitions will be enhanced. This sport will motivate you to get out, travel more, meet new people, and try new things.

I invite you to come take a surf lesson with me…

See you in the water,

Craig
